Meeting the needs of each generation – with progressive thinking
RiverWoods caters to those with a variety of lifestyle desires and healthcare needs—all in one inviting neighborhood.
Our community thrives as a result of residents taking pride in their home here and aspiring to live each day with purpose, dignity and appreciation for the support surrounding them. We want every resident to love their life with us, knowing they have the support and medical expertise they need.

Benefits of living in a CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community)
Having several levels of care available in one community is a valuable benefit—it provides you with the security of knowing that if you need Personal Care, Post Acute Rehabilitation and Therapy, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing Care at some point in the future, you won’t have to relocate. Couples find this aspect of CCRC living especially important. Should a spouse need the services provided in another part of the community, you can easily visit any time of day. This allows couples to regularly spend time together socializing, dining, or engaging in activities. And, also ensures your loved one is receiving the services they need to thrive and maintain as much independence as possible.
RiverWoods offers retirees two unique living options with an abundance of convenient amenities — comfortable one- and two-bedroom cottages or apartment living with up to 1,200 square feet.
Short-Term and Post-Acute Rehabilitation
With a newly renovated therapy center, our Short-Term Rehabilitation program at RiverWoods specializes in treating the unique needs of people who are in transition between the hospital and home—and residents in need of ongoing therapy. We offer a relaxed setting where guests can recuperate with unlimited visiting hours.
Located across the street from Evangelical Community Hospital and minutes from downtown Lewisburg, RiverWoods Nursing Care Center provides residents with 24-hour care. A highly collaborative staff includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Neighborhood Coordinators.
Personal Care is a lifestyle option for residents who may need assistance with their physical care but can otherwise live independently. Personal Care at RiverWoods is located in a one-story residence with a mix of one and two room apartments.
